January, 2025: An update and
FUNDRAISING GOAL MET!!
We now have the electric and plumbing rough-in, the drywall hung and finished as well as most of the baseboard and trim done (with the exception around the windows). We have the undercoat and one finish coat on the walls, ceilings and baseboards.
We had the kitchen cabinets donated and we hope to have them installed in the next week or so. We will be using all of the existing 28 doors, they have been sanded and a carpenter will be reworking them to make sure they close properly.
We were able to contact General Electric concerning appliance donation and submitted a GE Community Engagement Grant application, which was approved! General Electric will be delivering 4 refrigerators, 4 electric ranges, 3 washers and 2 electric dryers!
A volunteer was able to contact Lanham Flooring and they graciously donated top quality LVT flooring (105 boxes) which we hope to get installed soon!
A big thanks to Dutch Boehnlein and his team of volunteers, including Jim Garvey and David Seger for help with these donated items. We are so grateful for all the hard work that has been done to see this ministry come to life!
To date, we have raised over $290,000.00 for the St. Anne's House Project. THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!!
We are now focusing our efforts on finishing these building projects and hopefully work will begin soon on the windows!
STAY TUNED!!
